1. How do I sign up for the SwingWire?

Under our charter offer you are invited to preview the SwingWire for 30 days free. There's no cost or obligation. If you like the SwingWire and wish to subscribe, you'll get unlimited access to the site. You'll get sitewide access to all the CA tools and features, plus, access to all other CA trading spaces, all for $29.95 per month, or $299.95 for an annual subscription.

2. Unable to create an account due to a duplicate email address or credit card error?

Upon registration, you will be asked to enter your email address for a trial account or your email address and credit card information for a regular monthly or annual membership. The SwingWire uses this information as “unique identifiers” for your account in an effort to enforce maximum integrity throughout the Community. SwingWire, Inc. practices a "one account per person" rule. Therefore, if you attempt to create a second account using the same email address or credit card, your attempt to create an additional account will be denied.

3. What's available on the SwingWire?

The SwingWire offers much-needed relief from the deluge of financial information by providing you with the key information you need. Real-time CA alerts of stock picks, extensive CA market commentaries, message boards, chat rooms, and a whole host of additional tools and features. Take the Tour and find out what we offer.

4. How do I review and update my account information?

If you are a Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator user, you can access your account information online through our account modification page. You can:

  • Update (or just review) your account information
  • Change your password
  • Become a paying member during or after your free trial

5. How will the SwingWire's charge appear on my credit card?

Charges will appear on your credit card under the name SwingWire.com. If you choose a monthly subscription, your first charge will appear at the start of your subscription period. Annual subscriptions will be billed in the full amount at the time of purchase.

Per the SwingWire Member Agreement, if you cancel within the first 30 days of signing up for the SwingWire's annual service, you will be refunded the entire subscription amount. After 30 days, no refunds will be given.

Technical Issues

1. Browser Support

The SwingWire supports use of Netscape Navigator 3.0 and higher and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 and higher. However, for optimal viewing, we recommend using the latest version of Netscape Communicator or Internet Explorer. For other technical questions, please contact our technical team.

2. Using Internet Explorer and having trouble creating or modifying your account?

For our Members' protection, the SwingWire uses SSL to encrypt data when creating or modifying a user's account information. This is to ensure that sensitive data is not "snooped" while in transit. This process requires that the web server, as well as the browser, be secured using the SSL algorithms and that the feature be turned on. If the security settings within your Internet Explorer Browser are not set properly, access will be denied. Here is a simple solution:

Select "Tools" on your browser menu bar. Then, click on "Internet Options". Once there, select the “Advanced” tab. Scroll down the list to "Security". Under "Security", make sure that "SSL 2.0" and "SSL 3.0”" are checked. This is to help ensure maximum protection when sending information on the Internet. Once changed, close your browser for the settings to take effect. Then, reopen your browser and come back to the website.
